Reservation System, Release Manager, Banking Architects

 A few hits this morning.

Sr./Team Lead for Online/Kiosk Reservation System
Although there’s no information about the company, the basics seem sound enough:

This is a hands-on role that involves a mix of technical leadership, application design and development.   Developing applications for online and Kiosk reservation systems.

The UI side sounds pretty spartan, what with JSP/Servlets/Struts/Tiles.  Knowing more about the company and the reservation system would make this more appealing.  The mention of wireless is interesting.

Work: 65%.  Morbid curiosity: 60%.  Company/Compensation: 0%.

Release Manager
This change co-ordinator position basically sounds like a release manager. The description doesn’t really stand out, but release manager positions are rare enough, and I have a friend in that career path, so I like to pass them on.

Work: 60%.  Morbid curiosity/company/compensation: n/a.

Banking Architects

Planet4it is looking for some architects to work in the ever-so-large Toronto banking field:

One of Canada’s premier consulting firms has top-notch career opportunities
available for two Applications Architects to define business and technical
solutions, and lead projects involving large financial institution clients
throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Basically sounds like your average banking/architecture/consulting job, which is to say good responsibility, possibly good pay, and some variety, but still, definitely banking.  🙂  It’d be nice to know more about the company and the compensation.

Work: 70%; Company/Compensation/Morbid Curiosity: n/a.
